1. Keeping it Simple Thanksgiving Table

This post shares easy ways to make long a low centerpieces like the one pictured while keeping entertaining simple. How to choose durable items that will last and make your day more successful while keeping a sentimental vibe present. Also it explores the benefits of a seat and serve verses and full blow buffet.

2. Traditional Thanksgiving

This table has it all fall color, cozy warm inviting vibes, welcoming traditional memories. You can fix your plate and leisurely eat at your own pace, not passing and grabbing or feeling as thought your must eat that weird green stuff aunt Bethany brought just to make her smile. It’s Lime by the way with cat food in it…

3. The Gobblers Table

You know how I enjoyed playing up the stark contrast between navy blue and copper. I call this type of design, complementary color design. You will notice various shades of blue with the focal being copper. This is a very important tip to keep in mind as you set your table for fall. This table includes an easy DIY project with the little gobblers as well. Paired with a fantastic Blackberry mule recipe too!

4. Traditional Tartan Thanksgiving

One of my favorite indoor tables ever, it was just clean and simple! Fresh olive branches, birch logs and pumpkins for a super simple centerpiece, tartan blankets and bench seating to hold tons of guests. This was a buffet style service where guests served themselves in the kitchen in a home style format. It also featured my gratitude tree which was featured in House Beautiful and Southern Living Magazines with the DIY.

5. The Friendsgiving Recipe Swap

This was a fun gathering the Friendsgiving recipe swap, we invited everyone a told them to bring a family recipe to a pot luck style of feast, along with the recipe cards included with the invite. This created a fun keepsake memento for the occasion from our gathering and added to our recipe boxes as well. See more at the link above, including the DIY penny table runner and chargers.

6. Chic Fall Entertaining

This is another one of my navy and copper creations that I love so much. This time I utilized antique brown bottles for the floral centerpieces and silver mirror glazed pumpkins for a regal look.  I do love to add in my Blue Willow Plates for just a touch more southern charm too. This is what I have on the table this year wink wink, to go with the blue and orange front porch design from the fall.

7. Gracious Outdoor Entertaining

This has to be one of the most beautiful outdoor Thanksgivings I ever hosted. Even though it was during the Pandemic when everyone was worried about being indoors and point of contact. I loved the idea of fresh air or alfresco dining, and the weather was absolutely perfect for it, as it was still rather warm. However this year might be a little bit cold as it is already having flurries in the mountains here.

8. Amaizing Grace Table

Another fun table where we paid homage to the indigenous people from this holiday and my native American roots. I often tell the story of how I wanted to play the part of a little Indian girl in a Kindergarten production but since I blonde hair and blue eyed in Georgia that was not how I was type cast. Ironically I am 1/8 on my mom’s side and 1/16 on my dad’s side Cherokee Indian. So, technically I could be a card carrying member if I wanted to apply, and who says I haven’t?  Take that Gwin Oaks Elementary I can be an Indian if I want to be!

9. Whismical Woodland Table

This would make a great kids table, plenty of fun woodland creatures to keep all “the littles” busy while the adults have a cocktail hand pass party in the kitchen, or on the patio alfresco style under some twinkle lights with a great Pinot. This gets you all ready for the Black Friday shopping so you can plan who is getting what, without those little ears eavesdropping.

10. Pumpkins 3 ways

This was a fun tablescape that I depicted how to transition from fall, to Halloween to Thanksgiving with very simple changes along with way. The feature was all milk glass used a candlestick holders instead of a traditional bud vase, which was pretty all by itself. You could still recreate just the Thanksgiving portion even if you missed the other two sections of  fall or maybe transition it Christmas with poinsettias?
