Give your family something new and fresh, that will have your guest asking for more and your kids eating broccoli by the bushel. This triple church broccoli salad is one of my favorites and I am sure it will be one of your favorites too.I have to say there is nothing better than taking a quick break mid day to catch little Vitamin D on our new patio for a lunch break. I will say that once we get the basement finished out it will be much easier to enjoy meals on the terrace level, but for now it is just a quick down stairs. You may have seen my Summer Outdoor Living, post a couple of weeks ago. There was a specific section that I mentioned about me and the mister having a light summer lunches, on the patio since we both work from home. This was one of our healthy cold plate options, with a pre grill BBQ chicken and my fresh Broccoli Triple Crunch Salad.We also are drinking one of our favorites, La Criox water. Since we have pretty much given up sodas and only drink water, this is our go to carbonated beverage of choice. While the market is starting to see other fun brands join the party we still love the Coconut, Orange and Lime. We do truly miss our beloved Pamplemousse which french for grapefruit which used to be our number one choice but due to some “old age” medications we can not longer drink. I got so many emails requesting my recipe, I decided I had to release it as post, mainly because I just didn’t have time to keep sending it out via email. So here is my recipe for the best broccoli salad during these hot summer months, and be sure to Pin It for later too!
Fresh Triple Crunch Broccoli Salad
- 1 Broccoli Crown Chopped
- 1 Cup Red Seedless Grape Sliced
- 1/2 Cup Pecans
- 1/4 Cup Blanched Almonds
- 4 tbsp Sunflower Seeds
- 1/2 Onion Minced
- 8 oz Orange Poppy Seed Dressing
- 4 tbsp Mayonaise
- 8 Slices Pre-Cooked Crumbled Bacon (Optional)
Mix all ingredient together and chill at least 1 hour before serving.
