Boozy Dole Whip
Today I have created a Boozy Dole Whip for your weekend in sun, and it tastes just like a tropical vacation in a cup.
JUMP TO RECIPE
As a little kid I loved going to Disney World, and my favorite treat was the yummy Dole Whips, available only in Adventure Land. However, now days you better be putting a lot of rum into them to even get me anywhere near Disney World! The crowds, lines, and heat, then the crying, screaming (and that’s just the adults) nowadays don’t forget the the endless scheduling of fast passes, and the overpriced everything. Honestly, the entire scenario would make any adult want to drink, heavily. Funny it is really not the enchanted, magical memories, one has left over from their wondrous childhood days, now is it? This is how my version of the Boozy Dole Whip was born, LOL
All that aside, I still love a good Dole Whip, and I the found the Boozy Dole Whip brings back just as many memories. Which is why I want to share this magical recipe with you all. I got to say really love the flexibility of this recipe, because you can pre make it, and freeze it.This allows you to control the quality of products and produce used, not to mention the base has a ton of uses. It’s a great summertime dessert treat and you can just scoop it into a cup like ice cream. You can turn it into homemade popsicles or add a frozen ring to a punch bowl, which is great for birthday parties or a baby shower. This recipe also lends itself to be made into to a mocktail if you like, by adding in a sparkling coconut water, which to me tastes like a sunset vacation in a glass.Should you decide to make it a grown up cocktail, you can just float a shot of dark rum right on top for a Boozy Dole Whip. Another benefit is the mix will keep in the freezer for several months, so if you have impromptu, pop up gathering, your prep work is already done. Just pull the frozen container out of freezer, and microwave on the defrost setting for about 2 minutes. This will just help to liquefy the juices a bit for easy scooping and removal. Then mix with the cocktail recipe below, pour and serve.

Of course you make homemade cocktails…is there anything you can not do? This site is amazing I am telling all my friends!
Where has this been all my life? I love the Disney Dole Whip but add in some rum now you got something!!! Too bad they don’t do that at the theme park, that’s where you need a drink with all those cray cray people….LOL
I would like to show appreciation for the bar tender that came up with this drink. I am not sure what I would have done if I hadn’t discovered such a drink like this. Thanks a lot very much for your amazing recipe.
I am a huge Disney fan and visit the park at least once a year. The Dole Whips are my favorite too. You have made my day with this recipe and the idea of adding booze, brilliant. Guess that’s the part Disney can’t do LOL. Cheers
This looks so good I could drink one everyday for breakfast!
Oh my this is my favorite of the Disney treats when I go to the park. I do feel your pain, since they are only offered in Adventure Land, such a pain. Love the additional ingredients too 😉
I actually wanted to write down this recipe but I will pin it instead. This will be perfect for a summer time pool treat since we love pineapple. Thank you again, for a lot of things.
Love a dole whip! Spot on with this write-up, I truly assume this web site wants rather more consideration. I will probably be back once there’s more to read, thanks for that info.

I discovered dole whips in Disney too. I love them as a summer time treat, nice adaptation.
Good post. Study one thing more challenging than different blogs styles everyday. I have learned it should always be stimulating to read content material from different writers and follow just a little something from their store. Thanks for sharing.
Hi there! I simply would like to give an enormous thumbs up for the good drink recipe you have here on this post. I love the Dole Whips too. I will be coming back to your blog for extra soon.

THIS LOOKS WONDERFUL!! Sharing Post for my Disney Adventure Party.
Many thanks for truly being indeed thoughtful and reminisce of our youths. Also for deciding on variety of incredible drink ideas in the grown up versions.
I really love this drink idea! It was always my favorite at Disney too!
Thank you so much for posting I loved these too as a kid, now I can have a grown up version at home and save some dough.
Oh yum I used to love these as a kid, and would get them every time we went to Disney World. I do hate you can only get them in Adventure Land, but as tradition would dictate we always had to ride the Jungle Book Raft ride so it was always next door.
I had to tell you, the Dole Whip was always my favorite Disney treat as a kid too. My brother loved the Mickey Head Ice cream Pops but not me, I had to have the Dole Whip which sent my dad searching through the park to find them, and yes always in Adventureland. Now my kids haven interest in them, they like those stupid Mickey pops, ugh no taste at all. Thanks a lot once again for a lot of things including the trip down memory lane.
I have to convey my passion for your kindness. Your personal dedication to passing the solution all-around turned out to be remarkably productive and has in every case permitted those like me to get to their pursuits. Regards
Thanks so much for providing such a remarkable recipe to read. It really is very fantastic I can not wait to try it this summer. And lastly, I am just always amazed with the sensational suggestions you give.

Hey Laale, Yes I have seen that post and I almost thought about adding that idea to me existing post as a recipe option since it has gone viral. I had no idea that they did not include the recipe, so I am glad to help out!
I have seen these at Disney and now on facebook, where they become a huge sundae, but they did not have recipe on how to make the dole whip part, I researched and found your sight, thanks for solving the mystery.
