I loved the jammies so much I just had to get me a set of the Bamboo Sheets to start my New Year off all fresh and clean and keep my Linen Closet all Organized and stocked up! Plus, I wanted to give my entire master bedroom a fresh cozy winter update, which I promise you are going see more about, coming soon! We started with the bedding, these Cozy Earth Bamboo Sheets are featured as one of Oprah’s Favorite Things, four years in a row, so you know they are going to be good. Oh my gosh y’all, first of all look at the cute tote they arrive in, I can see myself using this for so many things, and I have not even got the sheets on the bed yet!Believe me once I got them on the bed they were just as magical as you would expect them to be. They are 100% viscose from bamboo fabric, so it is as soft as a cloud! First of all, we pre-washed them, no shrinking, and minimum wrinkling, which is a bonus for any homemaker and blogger LOL! They have deep pockets for even the thickest of mattresses, which has always been an issue with our bed. Do you end up with the bow of shame on the sides? Well not with these, there is almost too much fabric, but not really it just tucks neatly under the mattress.We decided to go with a basic bed in a bag this time after having done separate, quilts, high end comforters and duvets. I have to say I have yet to find one I prefer over another at this point. I just mix it up based on the seasons.  What I will say is the more textures you layer on to your bed the luxe it will feel, no matter how much you spend on your bedding. Put your money into the sheets since they are what touch your skin, make your comforters or quilts snuggly and weighted for the season. Then add textures with various pillows and throws to add luxury feeling. If your pillows and throws have the more decorative tassels and bead work and your sheets and bedding are functional it allows your bedding to be cleaned properly, which adds to a fresh night’s sleep as well. Plus, you can remove the decorative items when the bed is in use, sort of like ideas of decorative hand towels or soap in a bathroom.As I mentioned above, we have a few more projects coming to cozy up this space this winter for a long winter’s nap, so stay tuned.
