Sunshine Punch Cocktail
Today I wanted to share my tasty Sunshine punch cocktail for the longest day of the year!
JUMP TO RECIPE
My Sunshine Punch Cocktail is a fun and delicious little recipe I concocted on the fly last weekend for a little impromptu ladies’ late-night porch gathering. So, I can completely speak to how quickly it comes together in a moment’s notice, and how well it travels for an event that maybe on the go. The ingredients for this one is so simple you might even have them all in your pantry on a regular basis. Lemonade, Pineapple Juice, Sprite or 7-Up and Vodka. Heads up the vodka can and will sneak up on you as you won’t taste it, so maybe I should have called it, “HEADS UP 7-UP” LOL!
*A great party planner tip, if you do not already have these items ready to go, buy them from the refrigerated section of your supermarket to save yourself value cool down time.
THE PITCHER MIXER RECIPE:
- 1 cup Lemonade
- 2 cups Sprite or 7-Up
- 2 cups Pineapple Juice
- 1 Cup Vodka
- Optional Garnish for a FLOAT (1 scoop Vanilla Ice Cream) and a Mint Sprig
This also makes a great boozy float, you can do this by adding a single scoop of ice cream to the top of your cocktail, which also keeps it colder in this heatwave! This is great if you are celebrating a special day, like a birthday, just toss in a sparkler and you have a fantastic little celebration cocktail. If not, this is a great back porch sipper as you can see from our latest patio furniture build DIY, we got from the Patio Post at Amazon. These little wicker rockers have been an amazing little addition on our lower covered patio as we sit under the fan with our edison twinkle lights.
