Hey, I am Jen

Thank you for stopping by my blog. I am an interior designer, that chose to become a floral designer many years ago. I love animals, nature and all things beautiful. I wanted to start a blog, to share easy to do DIY projects on our home, located in the foothills of the mountains. I also love sharing innovative new and current home trends, handy gardening tips, semi-homemade recipes for entertaining, party tips and creative craft ideas. Our new master fireplace 🔥certainly came in handy yesterday with the snow! Is it just me or does the house seem bare after the holidays? I always find myself missing the Christmas decorations this time of year, maybe I just need to open a small Alpine Christmas shop to sooth my holiday desires year round….🤔 that would be a good retirement plan yes? Until then I will just add sugar plum tones to my cow prints in the living room😂

We are ready stocked up on firewood 🪵 for the possibility of more cold weather headed our way this weekend! So glad that we built in this cute firewood holder last year. Not only is it a decorative piece but it has come in handy this winter, and looks great while being a functional part of our home! That is what I call a win win in home design! Today may have required a little extra coffee after staying up so late watching my Dawgs win the National Championship last night after 41 years, so it truly is the most wonderful time of the year! Can’t wait to get my gear on order! What a ride this season has been, but we never wavered or doubted them for a minute, congratulations UGA 🎉 it is so well deserved! This is still one of the cutest little schools fundraiser, Christmas gifts I have ever received, and the cats love playing with it. I wish they could all be this cute 🥰 then parents could support their kids at school and buy holiday gifts for family at the same time 😉 as a win win !
