Cinnamon Apple Brown Butter Bread

  • ½ cup packed light brown sugar1 ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon⅔ cup white sugar½ cup unsalted butter, softened2 eggs2 teaspoons vanilla extract1 ½ cups all-purpose flour1 ½ teaspoons baking powder½ cup milk1 large apple, peeled and finely chopped
  • 1 large Apple Peeled, finely sliced or chopped
  • 1/2 cup Butter Room Temperature, soft
  • 2/3 cup White Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar packed
  • 1/2 Tbsp Cinnamon
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tsp Madagascar Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/2 cups All Purpose Baking Flour
  • 1/2 Milk
  • 1/2 cup Glazed Pecan optional


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
  • Mix together your brown sugar and cinnamon together in a bowl and set aside. Cream together white sugar and room temperature butter until smooth.
  • Add eggs and madagascar vanilla and continue to beat on low to medium speed until combined. Add sifted flour and baking powder, then in your milk.
  • Pour half the batter into your pan. Add in half the apple slices to top of batter. Sprinkle with half of brown sugar and cinnamon mixture. Pour the remaining batter over apple layer; top with remaining apples and add more brown sugar and cinnamon mixture to top.
  • Bake for 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack. Top with glazed pecans, optional.
