Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients

  • 1 Deep Dish Pie Shell
  • 8 Eggs
  • 1 cup Ham Cubed
  • 1 cup Gruyere shredded
  • 1 Tbsp Herbs de Provence
  • 1/2 cup Half & Half
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 3 Tbsp Nutmeg fresh grated

Instructions

  1. Pre heat oven to 400 degrees

  2. In pie shell combine ham, cheese  and herbs de province. Toss together lightly to coat ham. 

  3. In a mixing bowl add eggs with salt, pepper,nutmeg. and Half & Half. Whisk gently for 1-2 minutes, until the mixture is a solid light yellow color. 

  4. Pour eggs over ham mixture in pie shell. 

  5. Bake for 45-50 mins at 400 degrees.

  6. Allow to cool for 10-15 mins prior to cutting.
