So last month I featured a She Shed in celebration of Mother’s Day. It seemed only fitting that, this month for Father’s Day, I would like to explore a super organized utilitarian look of a Workshop. I admit, it would have been very easy to have done a Man Cave, but I felt like it was just too reminiscent of the Rec Room design and  I have already featured a grilling porch in the Patio Inspiration segment, so a nice workshop area only made sense. Honestly this is really great for me, because I have aspirations of creating a dream workshop for my husband soon, even if he doesn’t know it yet, lol.

So here are some of my thoughts on what would make a great workshop area. I think organization is always key to creating a well designed space. In the case of a workshop, the easier it is to find a tool you need, the better your space will function for you. For this reason a tool chest that is well laid out properly will serve you well. I also think keeping a few of those grab and go tools out in plain site is also handy, so I chose a galvanized metal wall organizer too. The rolling cart with bins is the perfect space to store smaller pieces of hardware like: nuts, bolts, screws etc. While the larger heavy duty wall shelves can hold your paints and stains, along with extra storage for large tools like a miter box or drill sets. I also really like the idea of being able to store extra lumber pieces out of site, so up and away it goes on the  Katforce “E” brackets.

All of these items are simply a suggestion by JENRON DESIGNS, it is up to the purchaser to make the final decision of whether a product, or paint will work for their room. JENRON DESIGNS  recommends that you take all paint swatches home to view in your homes lighting, prior to making a final decision.  Since we are not able to see your home JENRON DESIGNS is not liable for how a paint color looks on your actual walls and recommends a sample square prior to painting the entire  room. Paint tends to change colors with the lighting of room though out the day so it is recommend that you view the color swatches for at least 24 hours, in all lightening prior to making a full room commitment.
