Jack’s Honey Peach Pie

Jack’s Honey Peach Pie

Join me for a cocktail? Today we are making Jack’s Honey Peach Pie cocktail. A great sipping drink for the summer time and peach season.

Here in Georgia, we are known as the peach state, and right now our peaches are at the height of their season. So of course being a native Georgia peach myself, I will be making you a local cocktail favorite, with my Honey Peach Pie. This is a great cocktail to go with my Cowboy Nachos recipe I shared with you guys last week, since they really pair up nicely.I made this yummy cocktail a couple of weeks ago for a large neighborhood gathering, we call “Signature Sunday”. Basically each Sunday over the summer months, a couple in the neighborhood hosts as the bartender at our local pool and provides a signature cocktail hour. It is a fun social event, and we get to try a bunch of unique and interesting cocktails while making a few new friends at the same time.My Honey Peach Pie mixes two of my favorite flavors, peaches and honey. Now, I know some of you were thinking whiskey was one of my favorite flavors. Now, now, we all know that’s my husband’s favorite flavor LOL, as you may have seen in his Whiskey Tasting Birthday Celebration post! That being said, he really likes this cocktail too, and it is very easy to drink, but packs a punch, so be warned. To make this cocktail you will need to pick up Simple Peach Nectar (available in the refrigerator department of your local grocery store or make your own recipe below), Sprite, fresh peaches and Honey flavored Jack Daniel’s. Personally like to cut my peaches into wedges, and pre freeze them, especially if I am serving in batches in a large pitcher. The trick is that the peaches will act like ice cubes, keep your drink cold but not dilute the drink. However, today I am just using them as a garnish and I used the large single cube ice cubes, since I am only making four single serve cocktails. The ratio for mixing in glass is 3 parts Peach Nectar, 2 parts Sprite, 1 part Honey Jack (you can add more if you like but this is basic crowd friendly version) For easy party mixing in larger quantities use 2 bottles of peach nectar, 1- 2 liter bottle of sprite, and 1 liter of Honey Jack.  Super easy and a crowd favorite, I am still having people ask for the recipe from 2 weekends ago!

Jack’s Honey Peach Pie

  • 2-  1 Liter Bottles Simple Peach Nectar (you can also make your own Peach Nectar)
  • 1-  2 Liter Bottle Sprite
  • 1/2  Liter Jack Daniels Honey
  • 2-3 Peaches Sliced and Frozen as garnish

Homemade Peach Nectar

  • 10 Peaches (pitted, skinned)
  • 1 Lemon (zested and juiced)
  • 12 tbsp Sugar
  • 4 cups Water

Puree pitted and skinned peaches in a blender, put puree and remaining ingredients into a stock and bring to boil. Allow too cool before using.
