It will all be designed, matched and balanced to create a perfect room every time. This month’s theme is a Modern Dining Room and all you have to do is know your room dimensions for windows, rugs and furniture pieces. Think about those box cosmetics and fashion subscriptions, it is the same idea but no charge to my followers.

A Modern Dining Room

As the Thanksgiving holidays are quickly approaching, make sure your Dining Room is completely up to speed and ready for your guests. You have exactly 3 weeks to Thanksgiving, if you are hosting and 7 weeks to Christmas. Check out a few of my personal favorites to create a MOD style dining room with all the flare and drama you need before your guest even arrive.

This beautiful Bolanos 9-Light Shaded Chandelier is a statement all by itself in any room, but for this modern style dining room it creates so much drama. You can make your space elegant or casual and everything in between, with this beautiful fixture. I would highly recommend putting it on a dimmer to accentuate the highly stylized bold shades.

I can tell you that I get a lot of feedback on my metal chairs, which I will continue to keep since I also have cats that destroy most upholstered items. However when you are sitting at a table a nice plush seat does make for a more enjoyable dinner, and you can always scotch guard them if you are worried about spills or stains. My final tip is add in some lush greenery to your dining space. Since all the elements in this room have a tendency to be hard surfaces like wood or metal, some nice lush green plants will provide some much needed softness to the space.
